About

I'm Harry. I look at one public website before I recommend work.

I run Securixy and I am your first point of contact. We start with what your business needs, agree the scope of a public-domain review, then discuss the findings and what is worth doing next.

Harry Tinson, founder of Securixy

Harry Tinson. Founder, Securixy. One person. UK.

I handle your initial review and briefing. If you need further work, I will explain who delivers it and who supports you before you agree to anything.

Authorise the outside-in look See how it works

Same person throughout

You can come directly to me with questions. I keep the first steps straightforward:

  1. 01I send the outbound.
  2. 02I receive the authorisation.
  3. 03I look at the named public domain.
  4. 04I run the 15-minute briefing.
  5. 05I recommend a next step, or I say there is nothing to buy today.

Why evidence first

A lot of cyber sales starts with a product list, a scare story, or a generic checklist. I start with three questions instead.

  1. 01What can I actually support from the outside?
  2. 02What don't we know?
  3. 03Is anything worth doing?

If the honest answer to the last one is “not from this look”, I say that. A quiet result is not a failed meeting.

Why UK contractors

I am deliberately focusing on smaller UK firms in construction, civils, contracting and plant hire, roughly 10 to 100 people. The buyer is usually an MD, owner, FD or operations lead, not a CISO with a programme budget.

The practical questions often concern email, invoice fraud, customer requirements and keeping work moving across offices, sites and yards. I want the first conversation to help you decide what deserves attention and what can wait.

If that is you: construction, plant hire, or contractors / civils.

What I will not do. What I may do.

I will not

  • Start by pitching a catalogue
  • Call an outside-in look a pentest
  • Pretend I can see MFA from the internet
  • Call a quiet website secure
  • Guess what your insurer will do
  • Manufacture urgency the evidence does not support
  • Start a look because you clicked an email

I may

  • Show one externally observed issue
  • Ask a few internal questions
  • Suggest one sensible action
  • Discuss Cyber Essentials, if a tender needs it
  • Help organise broker questions
  • Tell you there is nothing to buy today

Background

My work is in technology sales and business development. At Securixy, I help businesses understand security options and arrange the right next step. Specialist implementation and support can be provided through delivery partners, with responsibilities agreed in the proposal.

You can read more about my professional background on LinkedIn.

How recommendations and delivery work

Securixy is a Brigantia partner. I can source and quote products from its security portfolio, alongside implementation and support where available. Securixy can earn a margin on products and services it sells, so I will explain the basis for a recommendation and the options available.

Any paid proposal should answer three questions: what are we fixing, who is responsible for the work, and what will it cost? Your existing IT provider can be involved. A public-domain review does not commit you to buying anything.
